Ride Guide
Planning to drive for a few days?
Work out how many days you'll ride first — it directly shapes the pace and budget of your trip.
If you're planning to see a lot of different attractions, give yourself a little more time to relax. On a road trip along general roads, eating and sightseeing as you go, it is generally more comfortable to stay within a range of about 100 to 150 kilometres per day, of course depending on the type of bike; for example, sports bikes that demand a lot of physical strength should not be scheduled too long.
At the same time, note that in autumn and winter the sun sets early, so if the schedule is too long you may have to reach your inn in the dark. In addition, the number of days directly affects your trip budget, and the time required for expressways, general roads and mountain roads will also vary.
Calculate road distances and conditions
Basically, just use Google Maps: enter two locations and it will automatically calculate the distance between them and the travel time required. You can use it to approximate the riding time needed.
